Well first off i am a huge German car fan so if you feel that I am getting a bit to carried away I just maybe. Continuing on; My rounded down choice where Volkswagens,Pontiac,Mercedes an most of all Lexus. Volkswagen for their famous an most reliable engine the VR6; Mercedes an their beloved an more reliable Diesel engine vehicles; Pontiac or GM I could say their number one V8 engines in my favorite Pontiac Firebird; Most of all Lexus an their over all reliability that outlast many cars on the road today.

First the Volkswagen VR6; One of the reasons the VR6 is such a reliable engine is probably because of its very different engine layout for a V6. Reason is having the pistons tilted by 10.6° or 15° instead of the more common 45°, 60°, or 90° angles piston on the more common V6 engine. Its said that the VR6 motor runs much smoother then a straight six. The VR6 engine is known for its amazing capability for adding more horsepower an the flexibility to be used in many Volkswagen vehicles such as the Passat, Corrado, Jetta and many more.
